Women supporting women in sports

Last year, during the Paris Olympics, we had the privilege of sitting down with Katie Simmonds, Chief Operating Officer of the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) and Managing Director of SIGA Women. As the driving force behind the largest global organisation for sport integrity, Katie is one of sports' few senior female leaders.

Her work spans governance, accountability, and transparency across every sport, in every country (wow!).

But beyond systems and policies, Katie is passionate about people - especially women's inclusion in sports leadership. That’s why she launched the SIGA Women mentorship scheme: a dynamic network built to empower, uplift, and guide women in sport. By fostering mentorship, this initiative gives young women the confidence, knowledge, and connections they need to thrive in an often male-dominated field.

And this year, we're so proud to be announcing that we'll be supporting this mentorship scheme. Andrea, our Founder / Creative Director will take on the mantle as a mentor and we'll do our best to participate in this scheme more broadly to help create the next generation of women leaders in sports.

And to celebrate this, we're re-sharing the interview we held with Katie during the Olympics. In this, Katie shared her own journey to senior leadership. She spoke candidly about learning to back herself, standing her ground in high-pressure situations, and managing the intense demands of her role—including a grueling travel schedule.

Her key piece of advice? Believe in yourself, take up space, and never underestimate your worth.

Join us in celebrating, mentoring, and making an impact. Listen to this unique perspective on sport, and find out how you can also get involved! 💚
