In this month’s edition of our Make Your Mark series, we’re spotlighting the courageous work of Sarit Michaeli from B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights NGO. With a long-standing mission to document the human rights violations associated with Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, Sarit and her team are at the forefront of a profoundly challenging arena—one that’s both politically and morally fraught.

After 6x year-on-year growth, sustainable fashion and lifestyle brand Paradisefold is now launching a luxury Salon Paradise range available to select salons. “Over the past year our growth has been driven by a close customer connection with our brand's ethos, specifically our commitment to UK production, sustainability, social responsibility, hair maintenance and confident self-expression. We have seen huge unmet demand for luxury silk haircare tools. That’s why we are now broadening how we connect with customers and launching four of our core products into salons.” Founder Andrea Malouf.

From childhood memories of watching my mom unwrap her silk scarf to unravel the glossiest and bounciest of blow dries on her naturally curly hair, to now incorporating the practice into my own nightly routine, the power of silk wraps, scarves and bonnets never fail to amaze me. Curly and coily hair is drier and more brittle than other textures due to its structure, so it requires some extra care. Whether natural, braided, or pressed, the preservation of moisture and prevention of breakage for curly and coily hair is paramount.

As we launch our new collection, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the deeper meanings and inspirations behind the patterns that adorn each design. Every stitch, colour, and motif has been carefully chosen to reflect the complex emotions and narratives that this collection embodies.
