Favourite brands this Christmas

In our last blog in the run-up to Christmas, we discussed the small things we can all do to keep sane this Christmas. Sanity and public holidays can feel at odds, and we've all experienced moments of regression to our childhood selves during the Christmas break! So here are 5 brands to help you stay sane and look after yourself. Two are very old favourites of mine (Completedworks and Beauty Edit), so apologies to any Insiders who've seen them before (at least I'm consistent)! Hope you love these as much as I do! Andrea xx I tend to start my mornings with a couple of minutes doing my makeup (less is more!). The one handy tool that I absolutely adore...

"My perfect Christmas day out is...."

FEELING FESTIVE... Or maybe not yet? I'm here to help!  To help get you into the mood, I've put together some of my favourite spots for a fun day out in London, starting with a rare good old fashioned English breakfast in the East End, and ending up in bougier parts of West London.  Hope this inspires and lifts your spirits! Big hugs, and wishing you all a wonderful start to the Christmas and broader festive season! 🎄 Andrea xx 🤶

The ripples of those events are still felt, particularly among communities who live with the weight of racism every day. This Black History Month, we want to pause and reflect. Making change isn’t always about moving fast - it’s about slowing down, listening, and understanding what people truly need. Too often, the voices that need to be heard most are drowned out. But if we listen closely, there is so much wisdom and resilience in the lived experiences of those around us.

“It’s about learning what your hair really needs...” 💇🏽‍♀️

As the seasons shift, many of us notice changes: dryness, brittleness, or extra frizz. For those with curls, the colder months can feel especially tricky. Many of us manage seasonal changes with small but consistent routines - from regular washes and leave-in conditioner to wrapping our hair at night to keep frizz at bay. Some even turn to natural oils, which can be a lifesaver against dryness. But it’s never just about the practical routines - it’s also about how hair shapes how we feel. “I put myself out there a bit less. I tie it up, I hide it away, and in a way I also do that with my own personality when I feel like I don’t look my...
